Our Easter weekend
Maybe I should have mentioned this before, but Good Friday was on Friday past. I came out to the world then, back in 2004. Different date though - on the 9th April. That's when I mention and celebrate. Especially if the Easter weekend is before the Dundee public holiday (first Monday of April). Especially if we've got something else to celebrate next weekend (and maybe something else too, in the near future - time will tell). This is actually 'our' second Easter, but our first one together. The last one was spent with me in Dundee.
So, we’ve had a quiet weekend of it. We were out on Saturday afternoon, bright sun but cold. A trip to the retail park and back saw rain, sleet, snow – and that was all before the Foxton level crossing!
The English take Easter Sunday more seriously than those up north, and many shops are closed today as a result. Having said all that, before we’d had the chance of waking up, some areas had up to 10cm of snow!
Dare I say that it looks more like Christmas?
Just as well there were no trains from Royston to Ely all day today...
Oh, and having liked the effects of an extra tab a day of estradiol, I’m now experimenting (from today) with 4 x 2mg tablets. Lets see how things go this week… it will be mad anyway, but have you ever heard of taking the bull by the horns? (sensitivity has increased a hell of a lot in the last few days… don’t quite know why or how…)
