Whatever happened to...

Quite often I get asked how I looked pre-transition. ‘Scary’ is my usual reply. Or another adjective that describes a pre-GID, pre-transition person, who knew why he wasn’t smiling. Content, but not genuinely happy.

As part of a recent import of mostly bus pics from 1998-2000, I dusted off “Disc 1 of 2’ again yesterday, and started looking around. Some really interesting memories in that lot. Then, I saw some pics of what looked like a birthday party.

Yes, believe it or not, I’ve stumbled across some pictures of my 21st birthday ‘celebration’ held at my mother’s place, so no drink etc. involved! So, for those of you who never met him, now you can say you saw him.

My sister (Ruth) is in the background. Picture taken January 2000 – over eight years ago now.



Whatever happened to that lost boy? Well, she is so much happier now… :-)
