Well, on Monday night, I don’t think either of us slept so well, so Tuesday was always going to seem like a struggle.

So, yesterday, I had to hit the ground running. A short-notice closure of Kneesworth Street (one of the main streets) in Royston meant that the bus wouldn’t be picking up at my usual stop, so I walked to Tesco and picked it up from there, an hour earlier than usual to make sure I got to work in time(they appeared to be following the same diversions as last time). So, on the bus into Cambridge, I felt close to dozing off on a few occasions!

At Boots, I finally found some more of the anti-histamine pills I’d been chasing. I got a script for more the last time I saw the doc, but they have been very elusive! These have a ‘BBE March 2008’ date though, but I should have had them all by then.

Stopped in Cambridge for a few items in the city. One of those were to browse the range at Ryman’s – only retail location of A5 lever arch files. They’ve always been a grey/black colour until now (A4 usually come in every colour under the sun!) But now, there is an Ocean Blue in A5 as well! A little bit more colour on the shelf! Bus to work, and then as I was early, I stopped at Tesco Milton on the way in. I spotted a new keyboard for £1.50, a new wired optical mouse for £1.00, and noticed that the Tesco Café has turned into a ‘trendy coffee bar’ (i.e. Costa), and then continued to work… where the doorbell wasn’t working!

On the way home, and I was beginning to wonder where the bus had got to… only to find that the 1740 26 back to Royston pulled in with a MAN single deck bus, 22459. It was only trying to make sure that this bus made it round every tight corner that kept me awake till I got back! (An Olympian, 16102 I think, broke down somewhere, and was being towed back to Cowley Road).

So, needless to say, I slept better Tuesday night. Even though the earthquake.

Today, and back to normal with the streets, I left at my usual time. We made it in plenty of time for work today, and I got back into Cambridge in plenty of time to arrive even earlier back into Royston – in fact, just a few moments before C popped through the door (even after taking 35 minutes just to get to Trumpington High St via Long Road with college traffic, and getting caught at the Foxton level crossing not once, but twice!)

I increased the estrogen earlier in the week, and tomorrow I’m increasing the citalopram (as previously advised by the doc).

Oh, and from today, it's not One Railway anymore... it's National Express East Anglia, hence the title.
