Tired – but happyish

We’ve now made it just over a month together… because our anniversary date was the 31^st, do we celebrate the last or first day of the month when there isn’t a 31^st? We can think of that for next time! In the meantime, a very quick response has meant that I have my new shifts! My first option was a four-day week, so from this Monday (7^th May) I will be working 1300 - 2300 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, plus 1330 – 2330 on Thursday. This then gives me a three day weekend, and means I can travel down south on the Friday daytime, and come back up north overnight on Sunday nights. This will allow me to see Caroline, almost as often as I can afford to at the moment, over the coming weeks. We are both fairly happy with the change!

The builders next door (High School cafeteria) are making one hell of a racket!
