This list is from Fife Council. Additionally to all this Stagecoach Strathtay 77 (changed just a few weeks ago) is to have an additional journey in the morning and additional evening journeys.  These changes are as a result of requests from the Community Council.  Fife Council will be supporting the 1925 journey from Dundee to Gauldry.  At present the changes to Service 77 will take effect from Monday 17th August although if the operator and council can get authority from the Traffic Commissioner, these will take effect sooner.

Service 6 – (Kirkcaldy – East  Wemyss – Leven) Commercial
Additional service 6 journey on schooldays only from Kirkcaldy bus Station to Leven at 1625

Service 7 –  (Leven – Kirkcaldy – Dunfermline) Commercial
A number of minor timetable changes will take place to improve this service as a result of feedback received from passengers

Service 23 – (St  Andrews - Cupar – Auchtermuchty – Kinross – Dollar - Stirling) Part Supported Service
The service 23A journeys operating between St Andrews and Cupar will be withdrawn. The service 23 journeys from Cupar at 0030 on Friday and Saturday nights, and the Saturday morning journey at 0755 from St Andrews to Cupar will be withdrawn.  Partially covered by revised services 64 and 94 journeys The Sunday timetable will be withdrawn and part replaced by Service 64

Service 33 – (Kirkcaldy – Lochgelly – Dunfermline) Commercial
Minor timetable alterations in the late evening. The 2150 journey from Kirkcaldy will operate 20 minutes later at 2210, and the 2305 journey from Kirkcaldy will operate 5 minutes later at 2310

Service 35 – (Cupar – Newburgh – Perth) Commercial
The 0659 Newburgh to Cupar journey will be withdrawn. Additional journeys will operate from Cupar to Newburgh at 0850, and from Perth to Cupar at 1535. Some minor alterations will also be made to the times of school journeys to/from Bell Baxter High School, and the 1648 journey from Cupar to Perth will run 5 minutes earlier at 1643.

Service 36 – (Newburgh – Auchtermuchty – Cupar) Commercial Service
Some minor timetable alterations introduced, including the withdrawal of the 2159 Newburgh to Glenrothes journey.

Service 36A – (Glenrothes – Strathmiglo – Perth) Fife Council Supported Service
This new Saturday only service, funded by Fife Council, will provide 2 journeys each way on Saturdays between Glenrothes and Perth serving Strathmiglo and Gateside.

Service 41 – (Kirkcaldy – Kennoway – Cupar) Part Supported Service
Revised timetable introduced incorporating additional journeys on Saturday mornings, Sunday timetable increased to provide additional journeys to Kirkcaldy / Cupar with onward connections to Dundee available in Cupar.

Service 41A – (Kirkcaldy – Kennoway – Cupar) Fife Council  Supported Service
Revised timetable introduced incorporating additional journeys on Saturdays. Most  daytime journeys will be extended from Leven bus Station to Muiredge via Aberhill and Buckhaven

Service 42 – (Cupar – Tayport – Dundee) Part Supported Service
Revised timetable introduced providing an hourly service throughout the day Monday to Saturday, with a 2 hourly service in the later evening, and all day on Sundays. Buses will also be rerouted to serve Ninewells Avenue in Dundee

Service 49 - (Leven – Buckhaven – Kennoway – Circular) Part Supported Service
The 1555 journey from Leven bus Station will operate 5 minutes later at 1600.

Service 62 – (Earlsferry - St Monans – Pittenweem – Anstruther)  Fife Council Supported Service
This service will be withdrawn, and partly replaced by some service 95 journeys which will serve Inverie Street, St Monans and Earlsferry during the daytime.  Residents within the St Monans harbour area may use the go-flexi Taxibus service.

Service 63 – (St Andrews – Anstruther – Crail) Commercial
This service will be withdrawn, and replaced by revised service 95 which will serve Pinkerton Road, Crail during the daytime.  Kilrenny will be served by Service 95 at the main road bus stops only.

Service 64 – (St Andrews – Cupar – Ladybank)  Fife Council Supported Service
Revised timetable introduced maintaining the hourly service between St Andrews and Ladybank extending to Glenrothes via Auchtermuchty. A Sunday timetable will also be introduced providing 5 return journeys. The route between Strathkinness and St Andrews will be revised to operate direct, although buses will continue beyond the bus Station to serve the new Hospital, Bogward and terminate at Craigtoun Park.  A new, late 64A journey will run from Glenrothes to Newburgh.

Service 66 (Glenrothes – Auchtermuchty – Ladybank – Kinross) Fife Council Supported Service
The service will be revised to operate approximately every 2 hours between Glenrothes and Kinross serving Falkland, Auchtermuchty, Strathmiglo and Gateside.

Service 67 (Glenrothes – Ladybank – Cupar) Fife Council Supported Service
This service will be withdrawn, and partly replaced by new services 94/94A serving Cupar Muir.

Service 68/68A – (Cupar – Adamson Hospital – Upper Dalgairn – Millfield – Braehead – Garliebank) Fife Council  Supported Service
There will be a minor change to the route and timetable of journeys operating from Adamson Hospital to Thomastoun Drive, which will serve Crossgate before the rail St ation. Buses operating Millfield - Crossgate - Kirklands Park - Adamson Hospital - Upper Dalgairn - Crossgate - Thomastoun Drive will show 68, whilst buses operating in the opposite direction will show 68A.

Service 69/70 – (Cupar – Wormit – Dundee) Fife Council Supported Service
This service will be withdrawn and replaced by new Go-Flexi taxibus service providing increased journey opportunities in the area.

Service 71 – (Dunfermline – Cairneyhill – Inverkeithing) Fife Council Supported Service
This service will no longer serve Rosyth Ferry Terminal, although Monday to Friday peak journeys will continue to serve Rosyth Europarc. Within Inverkeithing most buses will operate via Burnside Business Court instead of Preston Crescent and Fraser Avenue.

Service 83 – (Inverkeithing – Hillend – Dalgety Bay) Fife Council Supported Service
This service will be revised to incorporate an hourly link between Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay Asda. It will continue to serve Whinnyhill Crescent and Hillfield Crescent twice per hour, although Rosyth Ferry Terminal will no longer be served.

Service 91 – (St Andrews – Dundee) Commercial
This new service will provide an off-peak link every 2 hours between St Andrews and Dundee serving the new St Andrews Hospital, Bogward, Strathkinness, Leuchars rail Station, Wormit and Newport.

Service 93 - (St Andrews Circular) Fife Council Supported Service
This new service will operate hourly for much of the day between St Andrews bus Station and the new St Andrews Hospital serving Hepburn Gardens and Younger Gardens.

Service 94/94A - (St  Andrews – Balmullo – Cupar – St Andrews) Fife Council Supported Service
This new service will replace the current F1/F2 Go-Flexi services, and will operate to a similar timetable. All journeys will operate via Cupar Muir with journeys via Lindores showing 94 and journeys via Auchtermuchty showing 94A. Evening and Sunday journeys will operate via St  Michaels.

Service 95 – (Leven – Elie – Anstruther – Crail – St Andrews) Part Supported Service
This service will be revised to operate via the new St Andrews Hospital, Pinkerton Road Crail, and Earlsferry during much of the day, with the hourly frequency maintained. Some off-peak journeys will also divert to serve Inverie Street in St Monans.

Service 96 (St Andrews – Tayport – Dundee – Ninewells Hospital) Commercial Service
This service will be revised to provide an improved 20 minute service between Shanwell Road, Tayport and Dundee city centre with hourly extensions to/from St Andrews direct via Leuchars and Guardbridge. Buses will no longer serve Strathkinness at off-peak times, or extend to/from Ninewells Hospital. However new off-peak service 91 will provide a link from Strathkinness to Leuchars and Dundee.

Service 99/99A/99B/99 – (Dundee – Leuchars – Guardbridge – St Andrews) Commercial Service
Minor timetable alterations in the early mornings and late afternoons.

Service K13 – (Kirkcaldy Bus Station – Raith Estate – Longbraes) Fife Council Supported Service
Additional journeys introduced on Monday to Saturday evenings, departing Kirkcaldy bus Station at 1947, 2147 and 2247.

Service X26 – (Glasgow - Dunfermline – Kirkcaldy – Leven – St  Andrews) Commercial Service
Additional stopping points added to serve the new St Andrews Hospital, and on Methilhaven Road at Crossroads.

Service X58/X60 – (St  Andrews – Anstruther – Leven – Kirkcaldy – Edinburgh) Commercial Service
Minor alterations to the schoolday journeys serving Kilrymont Annexe and Madras College in St Andrews. The 2010 journey from St Andrews to Edinburgh on Saturday evenings will now commence from Leven at 2120.

School Services
All other buses operating to/from/via Bell Baxter High School, Waid Academy, Madras College and Kilrymont Annexe will be revised slightly to reflect the requirements of the new school year.


Go Flexi Taxi-Buses – Fife Council Supported Services
Effective from Monday 17th August 2009

The Go Flexi taxi-buses are the flexible way of travelling around in parts of North Fife. The service can be used by anyone for anything, for example, to go shopping trips, to catch a train/bus, to visit friends or attend medical appointments.  Journeys require to be booked at least 1 hour prior to travelling although journeys can be booked up to 1 week in advance.

F3 – (Cupar - St Andrews – Largoward)

F4 – (East Neuk)

F5 – (Luthrie – Rathillet – Bottomcraig – Foodieash)

F6 – (Cupar – Ceres – Pitscottie – Craigrothie – New Gilston – Largoward)

F7 – (Newburgh - Cupar – Lindores)

Bus Service Changes Effective from Monday 17th August 2009

Service 9B – (St Andews town service) – Commercial
This service will operate to a revised timetable and will operate to the new hospital and via Morrisons.

Service 92 - (St Andrews - Guardbridge - Leuchars - Gauldry - Newport – Tayport) Fife Council Supported Service
This service will now extend to new St Andrews Hospital.  There are also additional evening return journeys from St Andrews Hospital included in timetable.  The service will now operate via Langlands Road. Balmerino will now be covered by the Go-Flexi Taxibus and existing Service 77.
