The Edinburgh Craft Shop is along the road from me (http://www.edincraft.co.uk) and Stampers' Grove is up the road from my mum (http://stampersgrove.co.uk/); I do use several mail order companies for bits too and ebay is rather handy.
Hiding under the duvet is incredibly therapeutic; if there is someone to join you, that can be doubly therapeutic from the snuggling point of view!
