For those who have been asking who Silver Choice are, they are a small operator based in East Kilbride, south of Glasgow. This is the bus I came up on – we managed to recover the time very well, and still arrived in Glasgow with bags of time for my connection.

Anyway, I managed to have a quick look through the booking office at Glasgow Buchanan (yes, I was waiting for it opening at 0700 while drinking a coffee from the new vending machines – no more Starbursts Orange Drink…) and left behind a package of new mostly-English stuff for Bobby. Stagecoach Volvo/Panther megabus coach 54008 took me on the 0730 M9 to Dundee, where I arrived on time. Got back to my flat to see that the painters have been here while I have been away...

… shame they never got round to painting the yellow end…

... but the building work next door continues!

In Dundee Bus Station, I could see that the rebranding of buses to coincide with the service changes next week had already started. Volvo B7 16932 (ex 712) now has green and purple branding for Tayway Service 73…

… and captured an interesting picture as I passed what was the Chamber of Commerce buildings. Despite being here for centuries and decades, they went bust last year, following problems with unemployment training, which they carried out. During my time there, it almost seemed as if the trainees were (almost) running the place – somewhat milking the concept. Obviously no money to be made now – see the sign on the left!
