... after dinner of Caroline's legendary pasta and cheese, and watching another episode of Stargate SG1, I spent most of the evening catching up on stuff. Had a look (for the first time in ages) at the website of CBS's Late Late Show, an American late night tv show which is fronted by one of Scotland's top comedy exports, Craig Ferguson. Some very funny parodies and skits, and topical material too...

"You know the seasons are changing, when Paris Hilton starts wearing underwear again..."

Sounds like a very nice domestic Saturday evening! What is so legendary about the pasta and cheese and is there a recipe for it?

I haven't seen Craig Ferguson on telly for ages, I sort of forgot he's a big star in the US now! I did literally bump into him once in Prices Street during the Festival a few years back, he's lovely!!

Love the Paris Hilton comment, that's very funny.

I was suprised to find how "big" he is in the US when I was wasting time on Wikepedia a few weeks ago, funny bloke.

Macaroni Cheese, done with a different pasta (this time, hence the title). It's made with a whole pack of (low-fat now) mature grated cheese, and some chilli powder. Will email it on to you, if I can work it out! (simple enough).

Yes. Did he do Jerry Sadowitz too?

One of his, as I am sure you can imgaine, I'm not that funny. Anyway, he was also making quite a few funnies about the Iranian minister or whatever, who said there were no gay people in his country (and asked for details if there were... doubly dodgy!) Craig said that "of course there were no gay people in Iran, because no-one had told him how to dress"! Superb.
