An intensive day

Otherwise, the new working pattern is going well. Naturally, the first day was the best. The extra break is helping to punctuate things quite well I now get three 15 minute paid breaks on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and two on a Thursday [when I work 30 minutes less], plus a 30 minute unpaid break [“lunch”] each day. I am not feeling much more tired than usual, at the moment.
The main problem right now is being woken at any time from 0730 onwards by the builders in the adjacent building (the Dundee High School cafeteria)…
Some service changes to Stagecoach Strathtay local bus services in the Angus area next week include the introduction of a new Saturday morning journey on Service 21A at 0828 from Brechin to Forfar (with a connection for Dundee). Some journeys on Forfar Town Services 23/24 (Westfield Circular) will divert via Orchardbank Industrial Estate, presumably to assist those travelling to/from the new Angus House building. Some journeys on Service 23A (Orchardbank – Lilybank) will divert via Graham Crescent in Forfar, and there will be a new Monday to Saturday Service 26, which will link Beech Hill on the Lour Road (currently devoid of a daytime bus service) to the town centre and Tesco. Some additional journeys are being added to Service 27 between Forfar Tesco and Letham only, and these will run via Blairs Road and Dundee Road in Letham, passing the sheltered housing facilities. Perhaps most interesting is the long-awaited introduction of the Forfar/Brechin Rural Area Dial-A-Ride Service 123. This will provide links from the likes of Noranside and Tannadice, as well as the Pitkennedy area, to/from Forfar & Brechin, three days a week. The service is to be operated by JP Mini Coaches, and you can download the explanatory leaflet here.
