Now it really is Friday!

suzyscottdotcomMy mind seems to be changing from one extreme to the next, rapidly – especially yesterday, and I can’t really explain it for the life of me, dear reader! It’s not that I’m unhappy, but something is causing it. It does come and go…
… anyway, following yesterday’s blood test (I remember being taken aback a having a pillow prepared for the arm!), there is a rather large bruise on my left arm now, and it’s still sore from last night. Hopefully that will fade, not get any worse!
Anyway, I’m going to try and overcome these feelings, and remain about as happy and positive as I can! :-)
I was loosely planning a weekend away next weekend, but we will have guests visiting now. Thursday night away (14th – valentines day) isn’t really going to be possible, as C is working the next day. So, next best thing, a quick decision for a weekend away, travelling away this evening. Somewhere that we can get to after work, without driving for hours, and without going via London. Kings Lynn (Norfolk) is just over an hour from Royston by train. I think I’ve found somewhere suitable to stay the night, and Caroline likes the look of it (from the web pics).
Now, on my previous expeditions, I’ve been up to Ely, where the buses split to go towards Littleport or Chatteris/March/Peterborough. So I loosely know half of the area, but the cross from Cambs into Norfolk is a new one for me.
(OK, so the point of this may be a little fuzzy, but what the hell, it should be good fun!)
