Duphaston to be discontinued in the UK

March 2008: The manufacturer is withdrawing this medicine from the market for commercial reasons. If you regularly take this medicine you should make an appointment with your doctor to discuss alternative treatments.
Previously I was on Provera for this, and that made me mad. As I like my current combination, any suggestions for alternatives?

Date: 2008-07-16 03:10 pm (UTC)I am currently phasing off the Dupahston, and initally without a replacement. I did see my doctors (see later posts under the medical or transition tags) and am currently waiting for a suggestion to replace it.
In the meantime, I'll see how my moods go after coming off - now down to half every night, and no major problems so far.
Kind regards,
Suzy
