Up & at them early today, as I'm returning to Royston, and my beloved Caroline (cmmathieson, for the benefit of the newbies reading!)

Bus to Skegness town centre, then NatEx back to Peterborough, then (unless anything changes), Stagecoach X8 to Chatteris, X9 to Cambridge, then 26 back to Royston.

It's been good, but rather cold and wet. Naturally, this morning looks good.

I did not travel on a bus for a long time, the
last time was probably in 97 or so! :-(

No matter how you do Skegness to Royston i.e. bus, train or car, it's a bit of an odd shaped journey to make.

Last time I did it on this coach, and was going to do it by service bus, which follow the same route, but stop at all stops. The weight of the laptop and my luggage made me think again!

I thought the words of the song were sung '...three good butcher's, two fine chandlers, and an endocrinologist...'

And as for bus service 'they're highly dependable...' don't get me started. I made it here, that's the important thing!
