T-52 – Caroline’s birthday

cmmathieson became another year older today. She didn’t want any big celebrations, so I promised to spoil her today. I had made her a card on the A3 inkjet photo printer using this picture, and she was rather impressed! Her gifts from me were an Orange 150 Xtra texts card, and an iTunes gift card, as well as a ‘minis’ gift set from Boots. Other gifts and cards were received too!
For breakfast, I’d made a fresh bake-at-home ciabatta, and filled it for her with low-fat sausages (they were rather nice), plus black pudding and mushrooms. For lunch, I had a recipe for meatballs with sauce, topped with a cheese crust, and served with pasta. For dinner, Caroline could smell the curry before I had the chance to serve it – the recipe came thanks tolips_of_tragedy . It was VERY hot, but I had made it more to her taste than mine. To her credit, she finished the lot!
It was more than just cooking and loving, but I enjoyed the chance to experiment a bit in the kitchen – as well as to show my love for her. We were especially close today!
