Just spotted someone using the power points (laptops or mobiles only) to power her hair straighteners!

I saw that once too. The ticket inspector didn't say anything to her at the time but a few minutes later made an announcement over the PA that the power points were for phones and computers only.

If it wasn't for the high current drain, a portable kettle would be tempting :-)

We've just had all the "No XC/FSR Only tickets on this train" etc. but no "No hair straighteners!" - yet.

Never mind, new crew and new passengers here, for the remaining 77 mins or so of the trip.
