The Monday That Was

suzyscottdotcomSo, today has came and went, and I got a late afternoon appointment with the doctor. In the meantime, quick lie on the bed… just as I was about to doze off, DHL turned up, with the second box load of stuff from the OU.
I’m feeling better today, although it’s not that cold – a little wet out – and I managed to trudge up to the surgery before it got too dark, carrying a large bag of assorted books with me (stuff we didn’t want, had duplicates of, or stuff that I bought years ago that I’m not interested in now). Wait to see the doc, who issues antibiotics for the suspected infection in the chest (to clear the yellow gunk) before going into have a feel around both sides, down below. This must have been the first time he’d had a look in there… as he was really quite impressed with the surgeon’s handiwork… anyway, that’s another convert I guessed. C took us back, and we stopped in town for a Chinese take-away, before going back to the house.
Tomorrow, away, out of town, travelling north – again - but I plan to be back again soon. Keep watching!
Oh yeah, and doctor plans to wait and see after gynae have their look, in three and a half weeks.
