Today, we’re under a blanket of snow, a few inches, but more elsewhere.
C is back at home – no-one else was at work, so she is working from home.
No trains on the Brighton Lines, aside from two an hour to Gatwick. Trains across Anglia are either running with delays, and as Stansted Airport is closed, less trains there. Here, there are two trains an hour from Cambridge to London (all stations except Foxton, Meldreth and Shepreth, as these are all eight car trains, and those stations cannot currently accommodate them) together with another two to Peterborough. (trains from Cambridge at 6 and 36 past, returning from London at 26 and 55 past. From Peterborough at 15 and 45 past, returning from London at 22 and 52 past).
TfL suspended all London bus routes, including those running cross-boundary into Herts, Essex etc. (like the 20, 167, 279, 298, etc.) and most of the above ground parts of the London underground are off too.
Meh. Think I’ll try and spoil Caroline, again.
