Following problems with passenger reaction to the changes to these routes last winter, a revised route and timetable will start on Sunday 1st March 2009. Service 15 will run four times an hour Monday to Saturday daytimes, Service 17 will operate every 30 minutes daytimes and evenings, seven days a week.

Both Service 15 and 17 will serve Peebles Drive on journeys from Whitfield, and buses will operate via Whitfield Shops and Berwick Drive in both directions. Services 15 and 17 will then both run via Douglas Road, Asda, and then down Longtown Street, before picking up the existing route at Happyhillock Road near Happyhillock Walk. Service 15 and 17 will both serve the whole length of Pitkerro Road (15 will no longer serve Pitarlie Road at all), then 17 will run via Dura Street, Dens Road and Victoria Road in both directions, where the 15 will run via King Street to the City, and via Victoria Road, Dens Road and Dura Street on the way back. In Commercial Street, both the 15 and the 17 will pick up from the bus stop outside the Early Learning Centre. After Whitehall Street/before Crichton Street, Service 17 will run every 30 minutes via Lochee Road, Tullideph Road, Ancrum Road, Charleston Drive, Ninewells Hospital, Westgate Health Centre, the Medipark, Technology Park, Lynch Centre, to South Road at Tesco.

(I got my copy of the registration document today, so I've scanned it, and added it to DundeeBuses.info - click here for full details of the new route and timetable).

Half hourly on the Ninewells end? Hmm...

Oh, and is yours the only bus map of Dundee online? Couldn't find an "official" version anywhere.

Yes indeed... however, when you add the Outer Circle to this, it's four buses an hour along Tullideph Road, and most of Charleston Drive. Stagecoach's 74 extension adds another two buses an hour.

Thank you Dougie... but it is still on the TD website too...

... a new one would be nice, but they only come around now and then!

So, do you want the red 1C or the green 1c? ;-)
