We went out for a drive from Royston to St Ives (via Arrington, A428 and Madingley Hall, thanks to the SatNav which didn’t understand the new dual carriageway!), stopping to get some pictures of the Guided Busway fleet. These Stagecoach vehicles – 19 out of 20 of them – are locked up currently, but are expected to hit the road on normal routes tomorrow.

We then stopped at St Ives Market – an expanded Easter bank holiday version of the traditional Monday and Friday market, which is appearing here for the 899th year in a row! Yes, next year will be 900 years… anyway, very fast paced, and we went for lunch soon after. Managed okay, except a slight slip as I was leaving the ladies, almost went flying forward… but someone managed to get in the way, so it was okay. We then drove via Huntingdon and Godmanchester (stopping here for ice cream) before returning via Papworth, and back on the road through Arrington we took to come out.

You can see all the pics here from today. Also online now are a couple of pics from St Pancras International on Thursday.
