T-46 – Five months together!

Today marked five months of our relationship – and this morning, after the alarm went off, I just hugged Caroline in tight. OK, we were both still tired, but it was nice to be able to use it in this way.

Caroline LOVED it, finished the bowl and wanted seconds!

Only thing is, she starts a very intensive diet on Monday, so I won't be able to try it again for a while - but I will!

She seems to like my cooking... something I've never really ventured, to be honest. When I was on my own, bunging something in the microwave usually done the trick!

I'm doing so badly with missing your posts! Glad the curry was a success.

I find cooking for one quite hard and often end up eating baked spuds or stir-fries for days on end due to lack of imagination or enthusiasm!! I do have my phases of making big pots of curry or chilli and freeze them. Had a wee disaster this week while making a strange fake risotto type thing with salmon, brown rice, mushrooms, flageolet beans etc; made a huge pot, put it in the fridge and when I went to eat some last night, it tasted disgusting! The whole lot went in the bin...

I must admit, that's probably my fault. When I get busy, I end up mass-posting a few days together!
