Caroline decided she wanted some new maps and stationery for working on a forthcoming web project (note that this was Caroline - not me - usually it's the other way around!), so we had the morning (and early afternoon) shopping in central Cambridge. We parked the Landcrusier at Trumpington Park & Ride, and took an almost-new Enviro400 into town.
First of all, we got to the city centre, and stopped for coffee... a huge list of things Caroline is going to have to give up, including very sweet white chocolate filled Mocha! To be fair, it's the first one she has had since I've known her. We then went around a few more stores, including a backstreet look which lead us to a coffee & tea store called Ringtons - and it was their coffee leaflet which brought the title!
We then made a few more stops, including the FOPP store in Sidney Street - which has recently reopened! You may recall the chain went bust, and HMV bought the brand, and just six of the stores (those which were actually making money, allegedly). We then went to the art supplies store (where Caroline found most of what she was looking for) in King Street, before cutting across into Waterstones for the maps. We went upstairs half-way through purchasing (actually, it was after purchasing, but Caroline saw a few more books on the way she liked, so we went back for them!). There is a pic of Caroline with her tounge out, but I actually like this one best...

... I then decided I wanted one more of me, while there was still some estrogen-equivalent in my body...

... from there, we went to Claire's in Market Street - Caroline needed new ear-rings, and I needed the left ear re-pierced. Done, and as Caroline was starting to wilt, we headed for the bus back to Trumpington. After a brief stop for liquid refreshment from the vending machine, we drove back via Sawston and the McDrive on the A505.
