Almost ready... I've just attempted to fit the stockings, and Caroline was there to record the moment!





Right, this may well be my last post before they come and wheel me off. Many thanks for all your thoughts, texts, calls and messages today - you've really helped make the day go quickly!

Well, Liz wanted the gown on opening to the rear for the enema, so I thought if Phil was working on the front, he'd need front access. Apparently not though, but not to worry as Caroline (the gender nurse) put it right before wheeling me down.

Yeah, it's the elastic (on the top of the stockings) that is the problem, as well as the toes sticking out the end!

I didn't find the elastic on the tops too bad, but the holes at the bottom were a nightmare. I didn't have the luxury of having anyone staying in Brighton with me, so I had to beg nurses and catering staff to reorientate my toes all the time! I was soooooo glad when they finally came off.

I am currrently the same, as Caroline had to go on Tuesday night, coming back Saturday morning (work), so I have needed help too... including picking up dropped phones etc.!
