Productive Saturday morning
Oct. 20th, 2007 11:54 amWell, it's actually been a busy morning so far!
I couldn't sleep last night, gave up after two hours and buzzed the nurses, who kindly ensured I as sleeping soon after :)
I got about 6 and a half hours sleep before waking up.
Phil has been in again, happy, he will be back tomorrow morning to do the pack removal around 0800.
One of the nurses has been and gone - removed the remnants of the T-bandage, which was starting to fall apart, and changed me into a pad in my own underwear.
All that, and I've still got the excitement of my first unrestricted choices from the food menu for lunch (hopefully!) as well as Caroline coming in later - for the first time I've seen her since late Tuesday night.

Congratulations and welcome to the Class of 2007! Packing removal will feel so wonderful. It gives you such a feeling of freedom to be able to bend after having to take so much care not to strain things. Is yours sewn in?

My (vaginal pack) is not sutured in, I can see the new hood is all stitched up nicely though.
Any more questions, please ask!
kind regards,
