Then and Now

This picture was taken in May 2005 – 31 months and a few days before the second one. Compare and contrast. The first picture is after transition, but when I’d been on the Premarin for just a few weeks. Now, on completely different meds, and post-op (GRS) too.





I had forgotten about the former, until C reminded me the other day. When I went back to the first one, I was surprised at how much weight I’ve lost since then! It’s a skirt, not jeans, but even that is bad by my current standards – but indeed, dear reader, that’s why we call it transition! Oh, the original pic was taken on 710 (now 16930), for the anoraks!

No, that pic was taken on private ground, we'd taken the bus to a bus rally. I'd had a friend ask for a pic, so it seemed the most logical place to take one... I took one of a friend sat there, then another one, so I had a 'brainwave' and asked one to take a pic of me!

(I was doing some leaflets, posters etc. for the company at the time).
