Exploring Hertfordshire by Landcruiser

suzyscottdotcomWe had a good afternoon out. C drove us, and wanted to have a spin around the roads south of Letchworth. So, we left Royston via the B1039 to Barley, B1368 to Hare Street, B1038 to Buntingford, A507 almost into Baldock, A6141 (London Road), B197 [parallel to the A1(M)] almost to Graveley, then along Graveley Lane to Great Wymondley, down Arch Road to Little Wymondley, and onto the A602 to Hitchin. We then stopped for C to buy a couple more sci-fi books from Waterstones, while I sent the two colour toner carts off for recycling. Afterwards we went for a late lunch in Pizza Express, before continuing via Hitchin Library to a small local sweetshop where Caroline was feeling very nostalgic!
Actually a lot warmer today than recently, and it was nice to get out and about with the new clothing gifts from C, including one of the new skirts, and the boots. C did notice as we left Hitchin Library that I’d left the sticker on the base…
… a very enjoyable day out. We drove back direct along the A505 to Royston, and C has gone for a lie-down. I’m going to prepare a pasta bake for dinner this evening… (well, we had an Indian last night…)
