The rest of my Wednesday
Sep. 5th, 2007 10:21 pmOn the way out to the bus, I was walking along the street in a top skirt with heels... even got an "alright darlin" from the workmen at the end of the road... which Caroline called me a "jammy wotzit" for getting the compliment!
Firstly, after visiting the JCP and having lunch, I proceeded to Milton for work. The second day of my training took a couple of hours only, and I am now a fully trained volunteer for the PFH! Next week will be my first time 'live', and I've got a 'full' day next Wednesday i.e. a morning and an afternoon shift, with a lunch break.
After this, I stopped in the city centre to post some mail, before popping into visit
auntysarah. I also met another friend of hers who was passing by. I am sure she will post pics of her new hairdo in time... but it's rather nice! Sarah did say she turned quite a few heads on the way home, and wearing a matching top and skirt probably did her quite a few favours.
The hormones are now starting to leave my body - that, and a mix of some fading dental pain meant I was yawning quite a bit on the bus home!
When I got back here, some unexpected news, which is 'in confidence' technically, so I won't say any more for now. Suffice to say, the previous combination with this on top did not do my head very well. I remember getting a bit upset, but then I think I started not making a lot of sense. Never mind, we had a late-ish night in the end, when I stopped crying!
