Randomness
Oct. 26th, 2007 04:11 pm1. Since my last blog post, I’ve had a bit of a bad tummy. No idea what has caused it, nothing appears to have changed formula, so I will take it the bug has entered me some way.
2. Speaking of weird co-incidences, last night I was wearing the same brown top that I was wearing on Monday, when I had the other retention/obstruction problems. Co-incidence?
3. While I was in Sussex Nuffield Hospital last Sunday, an older female nurse (who we later found was from Fort William) explained that there used to be a Susanna Scott working there as a nurse. I questioned this, and she said that the nurse was frequently known as Sue, and has since married, so has a different surname in any case.
4. If that wasn’t weird enough, then how about the irony that is staring me in the face? I came out of Nuffield with a four-inch projection from my groin, largely used for urination, and unable to stand up properly. Here was me thinking they’d cut it off in surgery…
5. Oh, and an email in from Paul H & Matt, who are now settling down to their new place in York. Paul says “I guess we’ve both got new fixtures and fittings then…” LOL
6. The new Wilko towels (see last post) are rather good. Just tried one of each during my afternoon round of Hide The Stent.
7. Has anyone else noticed how o2 seem to be going out of their way to be friendly to customers? In a reply to my email as to why the add-on I’d got didn’t work, they added “I'm sorry for any inconvenience and hope you're making a full recovery after your time in hospital. Thanks for taking the time to email us and enjoy the rest of your day. If there's anything else I can do for you, please reply to my email and I'll be more than happy to help you.”
8. Bus happenings appears to be mostly Scottish-related at the moment, too sore to type much more now, but I will be doing it soon enough.
